D&S Higgins are the main contractors and CST Group are the Consulting Engineers on the extension to this well known nursing home in beautiful Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin.
Phase 1 of this project consists of constructing a new building that includes a habitable basement area.
CEMtobent CS Plus was selected as the preferred waterproofing and radon protection system for the new below ground structure.
Some under-pinning and waterproofing to the walls of the existing structure was required; this was achieved by using Maxseal Flex which is a flexible cementitious waterproofing coating.
